Welcome to Mrs. Kennedy's Class! She is very excited that you will be spending the next year with her. Together the class will achieve extraordinary highs! Mrs. Kennedy has been a resident of Cobb County for 24 years. She attended Dodgen Middle School, Dickerson Middle School and graduated from Walton High School. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and a Masters degree in Science and Social Studies from Kennesaw State University. Her teaching experience spans over 14 years. She has been an eighth grade science teacher, program developer for the Extended Enrichment Initiative program, an Instructional Lead Teacher, and an Instructional Technology Specialist. She is staying involved in the staff development area by teaching 'InTech' to Cobb County middle school teachers. Mrs. Kennedy has been nominated for several awards including Teacher of the Year, GSTA Science Teacher of the Year, and Apple Distinguished Educator. Mrs. Kennedy is married with two little girls.
